Mark Johnston Raffle: Top trainer raffles off three horses

1st October

The Mark Johnston Raffle is open!

Offering players the chance to have a 5% share in three new horses to be trained by legendary trainer Mark Johnston, tickets for the Mark Johnston Racing Raffle cost only £2 with 20% of every sale going to Racing Welfare as we continue to give back to the racing industry.

The winner will experience the thrill of racehorse ownership with a five per cent share in the Kingsley Park 20 Partnership, which will comprise three newly purchased horses. This fantastic prize will last as long as the horses with the potential for incredible memories to be made and moments to be shared. The horses in question will be chosen by Johnston and his team at the October sales and will remain in training at the prestigious North Yorkshire yard. All costs associated with the ownership are covered as part of this unique prize.

The Mark Johnston Raffle is an incredible opportunity for any racing fan and is also beneficial to the wider racing community. Trainer Johnston was understandably excited about the idea: “Racing needs enthusiasm in ownership more than ever and the Racehorse Lotto’s most recent raffle opportunity is excellent, not least with 20% of every ticket sale going to Racing Welfare.”

The Kingsley Park Partnerships have seen great success over the years with a number of brilliant horses. Dark Vision was a Group 2 winning two-year-old after his success in Goodwood’s Qatar Vintage Stakes. He then went on to be sold to Godolphin and has since become a Royal Ascot winner (2020 Royal Hunt Cup) and, most recently, a Group 2 winner in Germany. Triple Group 3 winner Rose Of Kildare is an exciting prospect and has recently been bought by Qatar Racing. Her latest Group success came this year when stylishly winning the Musidora Stakes. Listed winner Victory Command has taken partners across the United Kingdom, as well as oversees to Dubai, while Poet’s Society gave connections some brilliant memories, including a particularly special victory at Epsom under Frankie Dettori.

Johnston, Britain’s winning-most trainer of all time, also said: “I can’t guarantee the raffle winner will have 5% of the next Frankel, but we’ll do our very best to secure three nice types at the October sales”. He continued: “I then look forward to welcoming the lucky winner up here to see them train and maybe celebrating in the winners’ enclosure too!”

With many of the Kingsley Park Partnership horses being successful on multiple different levels of the industry, this opportunity will provide the thrill, the excitement and all other emotions that only a select few feel.
