Horse racing’s new lottery product, the Racehorse Lotto, is delighted to announce that donations made to Racing Welfare have passed the £5,000 mark.
With a jackpot of £30,000 and sole racehorse ownership up for grabs, and 20% (60p) of every entry (£3) going to the racing charity, the product has been a hit with racing fans since launching in April and continues to draw interest each week.
Commenting on the donation, Hugh O’Donnell, Founder and CEO of Furlong Gaming, the parent company of Racehorse Lotto, said: “We’re delighted with the initial reception of the Racehorse Lotto and it’s great to be able to make a significant donation to Racing Welfare at this stage.
“As people get to know about the Racehorse Lotto and the buzz around potentially winning our £30,000 plus sole racehorse ownership jackpot, we hope to be making many more donations in the not too distant future.”
Racing Welfare, who provide professional guidance and practical help to the stud, stable and racecourse staff whose dedication is vital for the well-being of racing, is the Racehorse Lotto’s main beneficiary.
Dawn Goodfellow, CEO of Racing Welfare, was equally pleased: “Having the Racehorse Lotto on board with their regular donations and vision for growth within the industry is very exciting. The product is unique to the racing world and we’re very grateful to be their chosen charity partner.”
“Passing the £5,000 mark for donations is a great achievement for the Racehorse Lotto and we look forward to the weekly draw every Friday at 3pm to see if anyone can land the jackpot!”
The jackpot prize, sole racehorse ownership and £30,000, is yet to be won, but thousands of pounds of other racing prizes have been claimed since the game’s inception five months ago.
You can select your own numbers at the cost of £3 per line and entries must be made by 3pm on Friday before the weekly draw takes place.
